The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 global goals established by the United Nations (UN) as a universal framework to promote sustainable development. Adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, the SDGs serve as a global action plan to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the environment, with a target achievement year of 2035.

The SDGs represent a shared commitment of the global community, including Indonesia, to integrate economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental protection in a balanced and sustainable manner.
